This past week I had the pleasure of reviewing two products from Celadon Road, an organic/green direct sales company (I’m in “Natural Nancy” heaven)! This company was founded by a corporate attorney (and Mother) who decided she wanted to put her business knowledge and love for green products to use. In doing so, she created Celadon Road. April Shorts, a Celadon Road representative, sent the Lemon Mint Glass Cleaner and the Peppermint Shower Gel for my review. I was super excited about trying the Glass Cleaner because I have not found a green alternative to Windex that cleans well. The “Lemon Mint” scent is so nice, not overwhelming, and doesn’t smell like chemicals at all. That’s because there are NO CHEMICALS! Totally safe to use around the little one! When I first sprayed and wiped the bathroom mirror, I noticed streaking. However, as it dries, the streaking goes away and leaves a very clean surface area.
When it comes to Shower Gel, I’m not typically a fan. I like to feel clean after a shower, and most shower gels leave my skin feeling slick….almost like I didn’t get the soap rinsed. So, I was a little nervous about trying the Peppermint Shower Gel. To my surprise, this gel left my skin feeling soft AND clean! Is that even possible?? Oh my goodness, and did I mention it smells heavenly? Here are the scrumptious ingredients: Saponified Organic Oils fo Coconut, Olive & Jojoba, Peppermint Essential Oil Blend, Vegetable Gum/Glycerin Extract, Organic Aloe Vera, and Rosemary Extract. What a refreshing ingredient list!
